Terms and Conditions

By participating in the Clean & Tidy Awards 2023 (the "Awards"), organised by Latch Events Ltd, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

ELIGIBILITY

The Awards are open to all businesses and individuals that have made significant contributions to promoting cleanliness and tidiness in their communities.

ENTRY

2.1 Entries must be submitted online through the Awards website before the entry deadline of 21th June 2024.

2.2 Entries must be complete and accurate, and must not contain any false or misleading information or infringe any third-party rights.

2.3 The Awards organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches these terms and conditions, or who provides false or misleading information.

JUDGING

3.1 Entries will be judged by a panel of experts selected by the Awards organisers.

3.2 The judges' decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence, discussion or feedback will be provided regarding the selection of shortlisted nomination or winner by the judges. All feedback requests should be directed to the awards organiser.

3.3. All judging discussions are strictly confidential and will not be shared or discussed with anyone other than the judging panel prior to or after the ceremony.

3.4 Judges can only access entries that have been assigned to them to score.

3.5 Before the official announcements, judges will not notify anyone that they have won or been shortlisted.

3.6 The Awards organisers reserve the right to alter the judging panel at any time without prior notice.

AWARDS CEREMONY

4.1 The Awards ceremony will take place on the 20th October 2024.

4.3 The Awards organisers reserve the right to alter the date, time, and location of the Awards ceremony at any time without prior notice.

COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

5.1 By entering the Awards, entrants grant the Awards organisers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display their entry in any media, without further compensation or attribution.

5.2 Entrants warrant that they have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to submit their entry, and that their entry does not infringe any third-party rights.

5.3 Entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Awards organisers from any claims or damages arising out of their entry or their participation in the Awards.

PRIVACY

6.1 The Awards organisers will collect and process personal data of entrants in accordance with their privacy policy of the Clean & Tidy Home Show.

6.2 Entrants agree to the collection and processing of their personal data by the Awards organisers for the purposes of administering the Awards and communicating with entrants about the Awards.

6.3 Entrants have the right to access, rectify, or delete their personal data, and to object to its processing, by contacting the Awards organisers at the contact details provided on the Awards website.

6.4 All details will be deleted one year from the event date; 20 October 2025.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

7.1 The Awards organisers will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Awards, including but not limited to:

(a) any technical difficulties or malfunctions in the entry process or the Awards website;

(b) any error, omission, or inaccuracy in the judging process;

(c) any loss or damage to entrants' entries or any other materials submitted to the Awards;

(d) any cancellation, postponement, or alteration of the Awards ceremony.

CANCELLATION

8.1 In the event that an entrant wishes to withdraw their entry from the Awards, they must notify the Awards organisers in writing as soon as possible. The Awards organisers may, at their sole discretion, allow the withdrawal of an entry.

8.2 The Awards organisers may, at their sole discretion, extend the entry deadline or alter the judging process, if circumstances arise that make this necessary. In such cases, the Awards organisers will notify entrants as soon as possible.

8.3 The Awards organisers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the Awards at any time without prior notice, for any reason.

8.4 In the event of cancellation or postponement of the Awards, the Awards organisers will not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred by entrants or finalists, and no compensation or alternative prizes will be provided.

GENERAL

9.1 These Terms (including any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with these Terms) are governed by English law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
